Description:
In the Municipality of Schœlcher, in the French overseas department of Martinique, a new installation designed by SANO2PAQUET has been completed. The selected model is the DIVO HU, part of the S5 series – the top-of-the-line option within the brand’s innovative self-cleaning precast washroom technology. The structure consists of a single vibrated reinforced concrete monoblock and includes a restroom accessible to both able-bodied users and people with reduced mobility.
On the exterior side wall of the facility, two urinals ‒ fitted with a privacy divider ‒ have been installed.
Manufactured in stainless steel and wall-mounted, they are screened by a robust steel privacy panel, designed to ensure long-term durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions.
The exterior cladding is finished with elegant porcelain stoneware tiles and among the perforated metal pictograms featured above the entrance to the public washroom, a dove stands out — a tribute to the Municipality of Schœlcher and a symbol of peace and freedom, values deeply cherished by the local community.
The precast washroom ‒ equipped with the advanced S5 technology by SANO2PAQUET ‒ features a vandal-resistant air-conditioning system, in both the user area and the technical compartment, a fire-suppression system integrated into the waste bin with nozzle, and an anti-intrusion alarm protecting the technical access panels. This demonstrates the high level of attention to safety that characterizes every SANO2PAQUET installation.
Accessibility is ensured not only by a toilet bowl designed for people with disabilities, but also through the provision of both internal and external usage instructions, delivered through Braille stickers and audio guidance. The audio system broadcasting information adds further value to the installation as a whole, and reflects a strong commitment to inclusivity and consideration for the local community.
Safety, accessibility, attention to detail and, of course, the highest standards of hygiene: these are the defining features of every SANO2PAQUET public washroom. In particular, the precast self-cleaning models equipped with S5 technology deliver the highest and most comprehensive levels of hygiene.
After each use, the public restroom in the Municipality of Schœlcher consistently provides clean, sanitized and fully dried floors and surfaces. In addition, air sanitization is ensured by the SANOSAFE® system. This environmentally friendly disinfection process uses ozone nebulization, without the dispersion of chemical substances. Activated during the night, it guarantees an optimal environment at all times. Not simply clean, but thoroughly sanitized.
